Kangkong is known in English as water spinach or by the more ambiguous names Chinese spinach, Chinese Watercress, and in other parts of the world it’s despised as swamp cabbage or Kangkong in Southeast Asia.
This green leafy vegetable's indescribable blandness and crispy texture perfectly complement pungent ingredients like garlic, mixed with vinegar and soy sauce which we used to make this Adobong Kangkong. Since it grows in water, I advise to wash it thoroughly. |
