Cinnamon-Spiced Peach Turnovers
(12 or 15 ounces)
peach slices, drained & diced
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp melted butter
1 (7.3-ounce) package
Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Sheets (2 sheets), thawe
You may substitute 2 medium peaches, peeled, pitted and sliced, for the canned peach slices
Heat the oven to 375°F.
Beat the egg and water in a small bowl with a fork.
Stir the peaches, brown sugar, flour, vanilla extract and butter in a bowl.
Unfold the pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Divide or cut the pastry sheet into 4 equal squares.
Brush the corners of each pastries with egg wash.
Spoon the peach mixture lengthwise down the center of the pastry.
Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges with a fork.
With a sharp knife or clean cutter, make some slashes across the top of the pastries.
Transfer the pastries into a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Brush the top with egg wash.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
