Escabeche Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
- 4-5 pieces Hasa-Hasa (Short-bodied Mackerel) or 1 piece Apahap (Barramundi) - Fried
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 thumb size ginger, strips
- 1 yellow/red bell pepper, strips (optional)
- 1/3 tsp yellow powder
- cooking oil
