Ginisang Halaan
(Clam Soup)

INGREDIENTS:
* 1 kg halaan ( clam )
* 2 cloves garlic crushed
* 1 onion sliced
* 1 medium ginger cut into strips
* 1 siling pansigang (finger chili), sliced
* 1 tsp. cooking oil for sauteing
* 1/4 tsp. iodized salt or iodized rock salt
DIRECTIONS:
1. Saute garlic, onion and ginger.
2. Add 8 cups of water then put halaan (clams ) until shells are open.
3. Season with 1 tsp of iodized salt or iodized rock salt.
4. Put siling pansigang.
5. Simmer until cooked.
