Puto with Cheese Recipe

500 grams all purpose flour (sifted )
300 grams sugar
2 tsp salt
40 grams baking powder (sifted)
80 grams buttered milk powder (alaska powder)
1 tsp bread softener (optional)
3 cups water
1/4 cup oil
cheddar cheese cut into thin strips for toppings
HOW TO PREPARE:
Get all the dry ingredients and mix them in a bowl.
Add the water.
Dissolve all the ingredients.
Add the cooking oil ( I used canola oil)
Continue mixing until you achieve a smooth texture.
Transfer the mixture into the little puto molds.
Rest the batter mixture for 30 mins before steaming.
Add the thin strips of cheese on top.
Steam for 10 to 15 mins on medium heat.
*** Recipe yields 35-38 pieces.
