Chicken Caldereta

Chicken Caldereta Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 lbs chicken cuts
2 medium carrots, chunks
2 medium potatoes. chunks
1 medium red bell pepper, strips
3 cloves garlic
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup water
1 can (250mg) tomato sauce
3 tbsp liver spread
2 tbsp fish sauce (patis)
cooking oil
salt to taste
HOW TO COOK CHICKEN CALDERETA:
In a pan or wok, saute, potato, carrots and bell pepper. Cook until tender. Set aside.
In the same pan or wok, saute garlic and onion.
Add the chicken and cook until tender. Add fish sauce in between.
Add the tomato sauce and liver spread. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
Add the sauteed vegetables. Then add the water.
Add salt to taste and simmer for 5 minutes or until the sauce gets thick.
