Funnel cake or funnelcake is a regional food popular in North America at carnivals, county fairs, sporting events, and seaside resorts. Funnel cakes are made by pouring batter into hot cooking oil in a circular pattern and deep frying the overlapping mass until golden-brown. Here's my homemade "FUNNEL CAKE!" topped with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, strawberry jam & vanilla ice cream sprinkled with powdered sugar. Yummy!!!

INGREDIENTS:

Topping:
- I chose fresh strawberries and strawberry jam topped with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream, sprinkled with powdered sugar.
Cake:
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- cooking oil for frying
- fruits for topping
- confectioner's sugar / powdered sugar
- ice cream (optional)
- strawberry jam (optional)
Topping:
