  Shrimp Fettucini Alfredo

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • raw shrimp, shelled
  • broccoli florets 
  • 4 clove garlic, chopped 
  • 1 (8 or 16 ounce) package fettucini pasta
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

HOW TO PREPARE FETTUCINI ALFREDO:
  • Boil a large pot of water. Cook pasta for 10 minutes or until al dente.
  • Drain pasta. Set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together egg yolks, heavy cream, and shredded parmesan. Set aside.
  • Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. 
  • Saute onion and shrimp. Cook for 2 minutes. 
  • Pour-in prepared sauce mixture. 
  • Add the broccoli. Bring to a simmer. Cook until thickened.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve fresh pasta topped with alfredo sauce.
  • Enjoy!
