​Chicken Pastel

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp galic, chopped
  • 1pc onion chopped
  • 1kl chicken legs or chicken breast
  • 1pc carrots, cubes
  • 1pc potato, cubes
  • 1pc bell pepper, diced
  • 150g. mushroom, quartered
  • 360g. or 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup cheese, grated
  • 1 can vienna sausage, tidbits
  • salt and pepper to taste

HOW TO COOK CHICKEN PASTEL:

  • Melt butter in a saucepan.
  • Saute garlic and onion.
  • Add chicken. Cook until tender.
  • Add carrots, potatoes and bell pepper.
  • Add the mushrooms.
  • Pour-in cream of mushroom and chicken broth.
  • Allow to simmer for 5 minuters.
  • Stir-in vienna sausage and grated cheese.
  • Season with salt and pepper. 
  • Let it simmer until vegetables are tender. 
  • Serve at once.
  • Enjoy!
