Classic Mojito

​INGREDIENTS:
  • fresh mint leaves
  • ​2 tbsp fresh lime juice 
  • ​2 tsp powdered sugar 
  • ice cubes
  • 2 oz light rum
  • splash of lemon lime soda​

​HOW TO PREPARE:
  • Combine 8 mint leaves, lime juice and powdered sugar in a glass. 
  • Mash using a cocktail muddler or a wooden spoon, 
  • Be careful not to over muddle and completely tear the leaves to little pieces - just keep pressing on them until the drink is super fragrant.
  • Fill glass with ice. 
  • Pour rum over ice.
  • Top with lemon-lime soda.
  • Garnish with lime slice and additional mint.
  • I serve it with crackers with salmon dip.
  • Enjoy :)
