​Chocolate Crinkles     Recipe by Ms. Melissa Banzon

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 cup Hershey's Cocoa Powder 
  • 2 cups granulated sugar 
  • 4 medium eggs  
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil 
  • 2 cups all purpose flour 
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar

PROCEDURE:
  • Mix together cocoa powder, sugar and vegetable oil.
  • Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in vanilla. Set aside.
  • On a separate container, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Stir into cocoa mixture. Mix until well combined.
  • Cover the dough and chill for at least 4 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 175deg C (350deg F).
  • Roll dough into balls (use your palm).
  • Use 1 tbsp scoop. Coat each ball in icing sugar before placing onto pan.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Let it cool.
  • Serve and enjoy :)
