Funnel cake is a regional food popular in North America at carnivals, county fairs, sporting events, and seaside resorts. Funnel cakes are made by pouring batter into hot cooking oil in a circular pattern, overlapping or cris-crossing and deep frying the overlapping mass until golden-brown. Here's my homemade "FUNNEL CAKE!" topped with fresh and strawberries or whipped cream, strawberry jam and or ice cream sprinkled with powdered sugar. Yummy!!!

Sweetened Strawberries Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups strawberries, quartered
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
