Corn Maja/ maja blanca

Picture
This corn maja recipe is very easy to make. Just a simple combination of all the ingredients in a pot, cook until thick and voila, it's ready! That's how simple and easy it is :)

Topping can be either grated cheddar cheese or Latik - which is a coconut cream cooked and simmered until it curdles, turns into solid and releases oil which I like better than just plain cheese.

You can either cook the latik first or the corn maja. It will be up to you. You can also eat the maja as it is. It's already good especially when it's warm after the stir coz it works as well without the topping.
