Corn Maja/ maja blanca

Topping can be either grated cheddar cheese or Latik - which is a coconut cream cooked and simmered until it curdles, turns into solid and releases oil which I like better than just plain cheese. You can either cook the latik first or the corn maja. It will be up to you. You can also eat the maja as it is. It's already good especially when it's warm after the stir coz it works as well without the topping.

corn maja / maja blanca recipe
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 (14.5 oz) can cream corn
- 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
- 1 (13.5 oz) can coconut milk
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1 1/4 cups cornstarch
- 1/2 cup sugar or more if you prefer it sweet.
- Grated Cheese for topping or LATIK
