Banana Nutella Pancake Stacks

​PANCAKE ​INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • fruits of your choice e.g. banana, strawberries, blueberries 
  • butter​
FILLINGS:​
  • I love the combination of Banana and Nutella. You can choose any fruits and/or use jams/preserves that you like.  It's up to you :)
 
*** Buttermilk substitution 
  • Place a tablespoon of white vinegar or lemon juice in a liquid measuring cup.
  • Add enough milk to bring the liquid up to the one-cup line.
  • Let stand for five minutes.

​HOW TO PREPARE PANCAKES:
  • Sift dry ingredients together into a mixing bowl.
  • Add beaten egg, buttermilk and oil.
  • Beat just until batter is smooth. Do not overbeat!
  • Drop batter onto a hot, greased griddle.
  • Cook until top is full of tiny bubbles and the underside is brown.
  • Turn and brown on the other side.
  • Serve pancakes stacked with nutella spread and sliced bananas.
  • Sprinkle top with powdered sugar.
  • Enjoy! 
***Makes four 8" pancakes.
