Soft Hotdog Bun

INGREDIENTS:

A.  2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 c water 
B.  2 1/2 c bread flour
  • 1/2 c all purpose flour
  • 5 tsp powdered milk
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt​
C. 2 1/2 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • 150 ml warm water
  • 2 tbsp soft butter
​

PROCEDURE:
  • Cook (A) until of paste consistency.
  • Sift all the dry ingredients 3x.
  • Add in the yeast, egg, and the paste mixture (A).
  • Turn on the mixer with the hook attacment and slowly add in the water.
  • Knead 10 minutes. Add the soft butter and continue until smooth and elastic.
  • Take the dough out and knead a little by hand. In a greased bowl, cover and let rise for an hour.
  • Punch down and give a few knead and let rest for 10 minutes.
  • Shape and fill with hotdog OR hotdog/cheese. 
  • Rest for another 30 minutes.
  • Brush with an egg wash.
  • And bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.
​***The result will be a super soft buns until the next day..=)
