Easy Banana Bread

INGREDIENTS:  
Note: 
Cut the recipe in half if you would like to make 1 loaf (Please see video below)
  • 3 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1  3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3-4 pieces mashed bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
Note: Recipe yields 2 loaf pans.

​INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Grease two loaf pans.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • Add mashed bananas, melted butter, eggs, milk and vanilla.
  • Transfer batter to the greased loaf pans.
  • Place in the middle rack of the oven and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until the middle part is no longer gooey or toothpick inserted at the center comes out clean. (Please read my tips below).
  • Remove from the oven.
  • Allow to cool down for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from pan and transfer to a cooling rack.
  • Serve and enjoy!​  ​

​TIPS: 
  • If the tops start to brown faster than the center is cooking, lower the bread to the bottom of the oven to keep the tops from getting too brown, too fast. Or you can lightly rest a little foil on top of the bread to keep the tops from getting too brown. I placed a foil on top after 45 minutes and continued baking for another 10 minutes.
