Garlic Green Beans Recipe

​INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/2 lb green beans, washed trimmed ​
  • 5-6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

​HOW TO PREPARE:
  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil to blanch the green beans. 
  • When the water comes to a boil add the green beans and let simmer for about 2 minutes. 
  • Rinse under cold water to stop the cooking.
  • Drain and set aside.
  • ​In large skillet, saute' garlic in butter.
  • Add the green beans, salt and pepper. 
  • Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes while stirring occasionally.
  • Serve with your favorite fish or meat. 
  • Enjoy.
