Paksiw na Bangus

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 bangus, cleaned & sliced diagonally
  • 1 small ginger root, sliced
  • 1 small bittermelon, sliced 
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tsp salt
  • siling pansigang or siling labuyo (optional)​

HOW TO COOK PAKSIW NA BANGUS:
  • Arrange all the ingredients in a wok.
  • Simmer for over medium fire until the milkfish is cooked. (around 10-15 mins)
  • Remove from heat.
  • Serve and enjoy!​
Notes:
  • ​Best served with fish sauce & chili pepper.
  • Can also be paired with sinangag (fried rice) or just white steamed rice.​​
