​Ginisang Halaan 

         (Clam Soup)

INGREDIENTS:
  • * 1 kg halaan ( clam )
  • * 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • * 1 onion sliced
  • * 1 medium ginger cut into strips
  • * 1 siling pansigang (finger chili), sliced
  • * 1 tsp. cooking oil for sauteing
  • * 1/4 tsp. iodized salt or iodized rock salt
​

DIRECTIONS:
  • 1. Saute garlic, onion and ginger.
  • 2. Add 8 cups of water then put halaan (clams ) until shells are open.
  • 3. Season with 1 tsp of iodized salt or iodized rock salt.
  • 4. Put siling pansigang.  
  • 5. Simmer until cooked.
