Vegetable Stir Fry

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/2 lb pork belly, strips
  • 3 medium sayote (Chayote Squash), strips
  • 4 medium carrots, strips
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1/8 tsp ground pepper
  • 2 1/2 cups water

PROCEDURE: 
  • SAUTE GARLIC AND ONION IN 2TBSP OF OIL.
  • ADD PORK STRIPS. COOK UNTIL PORK TURNS LIGHT BROWN IN COLOR. 
  • ADD FISH SAUCE, CARROTS AND CHAYOTE. COOK FOR 5 MINUTES OR UNTIL VEGETABLES ARE TENDER.
  • ADD WATER AND SIMMER FOR 3 MINUTES. 
  • SEASON WITH GROUND PEPPER.
  • SERVE HOT.
