​Banana Buttermilk Bread

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1 cup mashed bananas (3 medium sized bananas)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 tbsp buttermilk
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp baking soda

HOW TO BANANA BREAD:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease 1 large loaf pan.
  • Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  • Beat butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl until creamy.
  • Add eggs. Beating well after each addition.
  • Add mashed bananas, vanilla and buttermilk. Again, beating in well.
  • Add the flour mixture. Beat until well combined.
  • Transfer mixture into greased loaf pan.
  • Bake for 50-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Cool on wire rack. 
  • Enjoy your soft and moist Banana Bread! ​
