​Bangus sa Mais (MilkFish in Corn)

​INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 bangus (milkfish), cleaned and sliced 
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 white or yellow corn, scraped off the cob
  • 4 cups of water
  • pepper leaves
  • salt or fish sauce to taste
HOW TO COOK BANGUS IN CORN:
  • Saute garlic and onion.
  • Add the corn and cook until the corn is tender.
  • Add water. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  • Add the milkfish and simmer until the fish is cooked. 
  • Add the pepper leaves.  Simmer for few minutes.
  • Add salt or fish sauce to taste.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl.
  • Enjoy!
