Lumpiang Shanghai (Spring Roll)

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground pork
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup chopped onions
  • 3/4 cup chopped carrots
  • 4 cloves chopped garlic 
  • 2 tbsp chopped spring onions
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • spring roll / lumpia wrapper
  • cooking oil for frying

HOW TO MAKE LUMPIANG SHANGHAI ROLLS:
  • Combine all ingredients together except the wrapper. Blend well.
  • Wrap the meat using the spring roll / lumpia wrapper.
  • Spoon about 2 tbsp of filling near one corner of each wrapper. Fold the sides and tuck both ends and roll. Brush ends with water and seal. 
  • Deep fry until all sides are golden brown.
  • Serve with sweet and sour sauce.
  • Enjoy!
