GINATAANG BILO-BILO

Ginataang Bilo-Bilo is glutinous rice formed into small balls and cooked in coconut cream. Traditionally served with just tapioca pearls and sweetened jack fruits but for this one, I added sweet potato yam and saba banana or plantains so it won't be too boring to eat. I used mini sago (tapioca pearls) instead of the regular size because it overpowers the glutinous rice balls which is supposed to be the highlight of this recipe. |

To make the rice balls, combine glutinous rice flour and water until it forms a dough. Then take about 1/2 tbsp and shape into round balls like the photo below.
Here in Califonia, I can easily purchase glutinous rice flour in Asian stores. You can also purchase it from Amazon. |
