​Asian Stir Fry

​INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 lb. beef sirloin steak, cut into thin strips/slices 
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 thumb size ginger, thin strips
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 small chayote, sliced
  • 7 pieces asparagus, cut into 2" lengths
  • 1/2 cup broccoli florets 
  • 1/2 cup cauliflower, cuto into serving pieces
  • 1 small carrot, sliced
  • 1 small red bell pepper, strips
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  • cooking oil
  • pepper for seasoning
  • sesame seeds

HOW TO PREPARE ASIAN STIR-FRY:
  • In a bowl, marinate beef strips in soy sauce and cornstarch for at least 15 minutes.
  • While waiting, prepare the rest of the ingredients.
  • Heat cooking oil in a wok. Stir fry the marinated beef. Set aside.
  • On the same wok, saute ginger, garlic and onion. Cook until onion is translucent.
  • Add chayote. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Add asparagus. 
  • Add cauliflower, carrots, broccoli florets and bell pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Add in oyster sauce and sesame seeds. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Season with pepper.
  • Serve with hot rice.
  • Enjoy!​​​
