Thai Baked Salmon

Picture
Loading...
This recipe is so simple and easy to make. Just season your salmon fillet with salt and pepper then add the chili sauce. That's it! It is now ready to bake. The brand that I always use making this is on the Amazon link provided below.  The same sauce to dip lumpiang shanghai or spring rolls.

HOW TO PREPARE:
  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Line baking dish with aluminum foil big enough to cover the salmon.
  • Grease the foil with a cooking spray.
  • Lay down salmon fillets and sprinkle a pinch of salt to taste.
  • Brush or rub the sweet chili sauce with your fingers to coat salmon with sauce evenly on top, bottom and sides.
  • Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon, covering completely and sealing the packet closed.
  • Place baking dish on the middle rack and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and spoon the sauce on the sides over the top of the salmon.
  • Transfer baking dish on top rack and broil for 4 to 5 minutes or until salmon has caramelized. (Make sure to keep an eye on the salmon when broiling to avoid burning the top.)
  • Remove from oven and garnish with green onions if you like.
  • Serve immediately with steamed rice, quinoa or vegetables on the side.
  • I served mine with Garlic Green Beans. Garlic green beans recipe is here.
  • Enjoy.
