These Crunchy Egg Fingers are going to be your kids' next favorite snack. A very easy and delicious snack that anybody can make at home with less ingredients. They can be dipped with any sauce you prefer and can also be served with tea as they call it a tea time snack.

They are soft on the inside and crunchy outside. I used panko bread crumbs which give it a perfect golden color. Give this recipe a try and let me know what you think by leaving a comment below. Enjoy.

crunchy egg fingers recipe

Ingredients:
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3/4 cup bread crumbs 
  • butter or oil for greasing

Procedure:
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, salt and pepper. Do not overbeat.
  • Grease a square pan or container. I used a 6 x 6 glass container. 
  • Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan.
  • Steam for 15-20 minutes or until firm. 
  • Let it cool and slice into serving size. I divided mine into 16 servings. 
  • Prepare flour, beaten egg and bread crumbs in different containers.
  • Coat with flour, dip on beaten egg and roll in bread crumbs. 
  • Fry until golden about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  • Serve  immediately with ketchup or any dipping sauce you prefer.
  • Enjoy.
