Below's photo is a list of its ingredients. For the veggies, you can choose any vegetables you like e.g. kangkong, okra, sitaw, labanos etc. For Shrimp Sinigang, Bok Choy and chili pepper leaves are the only two vegetables that I like aside from the chili pepper.
Tamarind soup base is the main ingredient you need in order make sinigang. Tamarind boiled in water then mashed to drain the liquid can be made if the seasoning mix is not available. But so you know that this store-bought tamarind powder is inexpensive and very convenient to use. I sugges to use it if you'd like to try this recipe.
So, have your freshly cooked rice ready before making this Shrimp Sinigang.

Instead of just using plain water, I usually use rice water (2nd rinse when washing raw rice before cooking it).
