This Beef and Beans Stir-Fry recipe is spot on. Simple yet so flavorful because of its light savory sauce and crisp-tender green beans. Perfect to serve with freshly cooked steamed rice.
I used organic lean ground beef for this recipe but you can use any kind. You can even change the meat to ground pork or turkey if you like but I love Costco's organic ground beef. It's so tasty.
This is another quick and easy meal that's ready in few minutes, and your family will love it.

Procedure:
  • In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in water. Add soy sauce, rice vinegar or rice wine (sherry), sugar, pepper and pepper flakes. Stir and set aside.
  • In a wok or large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add the green beans and stir-fry until crisp-tender, about 5-6 minutes.  Stir frequently until some beans are lightly charred.  Remove from pan and set aside.
  • Using the same pan, add a small amount of cooking oil. Saute' garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant.
  • Add the ground meat. Cook until no pink remains in the meat.
  • Bring back the beans and stir to combine with the meat.
  • Add sauce and stir to combine. Add green onions and cook until thickened, about 1-2 minutes. Do not overcook as you want the beans to remain crisp-tender.
  • Remove from heat and serve over a bowl of hot rice and sprinkle some green onions if desired. Enjoy.
  • Recipe yields about 4-6 servings.
Recipe note: I used Kikkoman brand for the soy sauce.

Hi. Don't use regular vinegar. Rice vinegar kasi has some sweetness to it. Apple cider can be used as a substitute.
