This photo below is on resting stage. (I just removed the cover of course for me take a good shot). After adding and stirring the pasta with the sauce, cover and let it rest for about 12-15 minutes. This will allow the noodles to absorb the sauce. It will still be hot and the sauce will be a little more sticky. That's what you want in your Alfredo. Not too runny but not too dry.
