Cheese Dog Bread Roll is another easy and delicious snack you can make for your family. They are crispy and cheesy. Not like the traditional cheese dog bread roll you have tried.
This one has a mild sweetness to it to balance with the saltiness of the hot dog especially the cheese. Sweet by spreading the bread with a little amount of condensed milk. Tasty and crispy. Actually super crispy. Why? Because they are deep fried and not pan-fried.
What's the difference?
Well, pan-frying takes a little more time to cook because you have to turn on all sides in order to brown it. Also, this process allows the bread to absorb more oil. Once turned on pan, the side that's on top ended up being exposed and loses it's crispiness. Wherein deep frying, though needs more oil in pan, is very quick. Once you drop the bread roll in hot oil, it will be done in less than 2 minutes. It doesn't absorb much oil and gives you a nice even golden color and the exterior part is super crispy as well.
Just make sure not to overcrowd the pan when frying because if you do, the oil's temperature will drop and you will end up with oily bread rolls. And so you know, I used plain bread crumbs here as I like it to look smooth and crispy. Panko breadcrumbs can also be used but they do have bigger crumbs so take note of that.
