Dalgona Milo

Dalgona Coffee has been trending lately. I made one and everyone loved it. (If you would like to try it, click here.) But not everyone is a fan of coffee and many loves to share this delicious drink to their kids but of course coffee is not good for them due to high caffeine content. So, a great alternative is using the famous Milo chocolate powder.
Using Milo is a bit tricky. Procedure is different than making Dalgona Coffee. It won't whip just combining milo, sugar and hot water. No matter how you try it just won't. So don't even attempt.

Using whipping cream is the key. I know extra calories but if you want it to look foamy or frothy like in Dalgona Coffee, that's the only way. I've seen some using egg whites, which is a cheaper way I guess, but I am not sure if it is safe as we are using raw egg on it. So let's stick to whipping cream, can we? I know some will ask, can I use all-purpose cream? All purpose cream has always been used in the Philippines as an alternative to whipping cream but if we compare the taste, I find whipping cream creamier and no extra buttery or oily after taste. Making ice cream and other desserts are okay, but I am not sure when adding this to drinks.

Let me know what you think. Give this a try. I know everyone will enjoy it.
