Looking for a budget friendly and super easy to make holiday dessert? Try this layered Jello. You can change up the colors and make it for any holiday or party gatherings you have. This colors were made specifically for Christmas and it's a great addition to your party favors. Toppings are optional as you can leave it as it is or make jello shots buy using small dessert cups or glasses.

​They are very colorful and delicious! A dessert kids and adult will thank you for.

holiday jello cups recipe

​Ingredients:
  • 3 oz  ( 1/3 cup) strawberry gelatin powder
  • 3 oz ( 1/3 cup) lime gelatin powder
  • 2 packets,  .25 oz or 7grams each, unflavored gelatin ( I used Knox)
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 cups hot water
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream or all purpose cream
  • 2 tbsp condensed milk
  • sprinkles for topping decoration
Notes: I usedJell-O brand for the strawberry and lime gelatin powder and Knox brand for the unflavored gelatin. If you are using other brand, please make sure to follow packaging instructions.

​Procedure:
  • In a bowl, combine strawberry gelatin and 1 cup hot water. Stir until dissolved. Add 1 cup cold water.
  • Fill each glass or cup about 1/3 full with strawberry gelatin mixture. Remove air bubbles. Place in refrigerator until set.
  • In a bowl, combine unflavored gelatin (I used Knox gelatin) in a bowl and add 1 cup cold water. Mix well and let stand for 1 minute.
  • Add condensed milk and 1 cup hot water. Stir to combine.
  • Fill each glass about 2/3 full with the white gelatin mixture. Remove air bubbles. Place in refrigerator to set. 
  • In a bowl, combine lime gelatin and 1 cup hot water. Stir until dissolved. Add 1 cup cold water. 
  • Fill each glass with lime gelatin mixture until nearly full. Remove air bubbles. Place in refrigerator to set. 
  • To make topping, beat whipping cream until thick. Add condensed milk and continue beating to combine.
  • Top your layered jello cups with whipped cream and garnish with sprinkles.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve. 
  • Recipe yields 7 (9 oz) cups. 
  • Enjoy!
