Strawberry Mango Sago

If you are looking for a refreshing chilled dessert and love fruits, well this is it. Mango and strawberry combined together makes a perfect dessert when mixed with sago in a thick sweetened cream. These treat is super easy to make. A great addition to a party menu the whole crowd will surely enjoy.  A colorful refreshing summer dessert you'd want all year long.

strawberry mango sago recipe

Ingredients:
  • 2 pieces ripe mangoes (cut into small cubes)
  • 6-10 pieces strawberries (cut into small cubes) ​
  • 1 can, 12 oz evaporated milk
  • 1 can, 14 oz condensed milk
  • 3/4 cup to 1 cup  all-purpose cream or whipping cream
  • 3/4 cups small sago (tapioca pearls) 
  • 4 cups water

Procedure:
  • Boil 4 cups water in a sauce pan.  Add sago. Boil until the pearls are cooked or color becomes clear, about 12 minutes. Drain and rinse in cold water. Set aside. 
  • In a large bowl, combine evaporated milk, condensed milk and all purpose cream. Mix until well incorporated.
  • Add the fruits and cooked sago. Stir to combine.
  • Refrigerate before serving.
  • Serve insmall individual cups and enjoy.
