Cajun is one of the best sauce or seasoning you can add to any seafood. So good that you'll ask for extra rice! Yes, that's an Asian thing.  For this recipe, I used shrimp but you can use any seafood you like, e.g. craw fish, crabs, crab legs, etc.
This Cajun shrimp recipe is very delicious and full of flavor because of the seasonings added to the butter. This is the n'th time I made this recipe and I was inspired to make this sauce when Boiling Crab, an Asian restaurant that opened here in Rowland Heights, CA offered this delicious food and became a hit. After few years, more restaurants are serving this delicious dish.

Over the past 2 years, I was able to modify mg previous recipe and now that I got a better sauce mixture, I thought of creating another blog and video how to make it. Ahhh... you'll be amazed how easy it is!
It's a simple 1, 2, 3 plus I found a new way to boil the shrimp and how to keep the shrimp tender after boiling. Yes, boil the shrimp just until it the color turns orange. Do not overcook. Immediately drop the boiled shrimp in ice cold water and leave it for 10-15 minutes. That extra step will keep the shrimp tender so please do not skip.

Remove from heat and drop the cooked shrimp in ice-cold water. Soak for 10-15 minutes. Add more ice if needed. Remove from water and set aside.
