Tres Leches Cake or Three-Milk Cake is a sponge cake soaked in three kinds of milk that's why it's called Tres Leches. Tres means three and Leche means milk. The extra moist cake is topped with whipped cream, cinnamon powder and fruits (if desired). The ultimate cake to indulge with!
This cake was made without butter and just plain flour (all purpose flour) was used. It came out super light and airy. The only key ingredients are eggs that were separated in order to make the cake light which is perfect for soaking. Give this cake a try and let me know by leaving a comment below.
