Ube Maja is Corn Maja or Maja Blanca mixed with Ube Jam. It's a popular Filipino Kakanin.
For this recipe, I made the traditional Corn Maja at the bottom and Ube Maja on top to give it a nice divided color in the middle. This Ube Maja is mixed with Ube Jam / Halaya and not just food color. It is topped with grated cheddar cheese. Latik can also be used but I find grated cheese better as the topping has Ube.
