Chicken Afritada is a type of stew consisting of chicken and vegetables simmered in tomato sauce. A common everyday Filipino meal that is usually served with hot steamed white rice.
Ingredients on this recipe are chicken cuts, minced garlic, minced onion, diced carrots, diced bell peppers, diced potatoes, green peas and a can of tomato sauce. I love using fish sauce every time I saute' my meat but you can use regular salt if you prefer.
